YourWeb3Guy exists to cut through crypto noise and speculative mania with verifiable 60-word alpha. Our community discussion threads are designed for thoughtful builders, researchers, traders, and founders to exchange constructive perspectives. To preserve this space, all participation is strictly governed by the rules below.

1. Strictly Text-Based Input

Discussions on YourWeb3Guy are strictly text-based. Users cannot post external hyperlinks, smart contract addresses, Telegram/Discord invite links, or promotional wallet addresses.

No URL shorteners or links: All raw URLs and redirect links are automatically filtered and flagged.
No contract addresses (CAs): Token addresses, mint links, and decentralized exchange links are forbidden to prevent drainer attacks.
Character Limit: Replies are limited to 500 characters to keep discussions concise, readable, and punchy.

2. Zero Tolerance for Scams, Shilling & Pump-and-Dumps

We operate a strict, permanent ban policy for any attempt to use discussion threads for malicious financial activities, including:

Unsolicited memecoin or micro-cap token promotion.
"Guaranteed returns", trading signals, WhatsApp/Telegram investment groups, or paid VIP group solicitations.
Phishing schemes, fake seed phrase recovery assistance, or impersonation of crypto protocols and founders.

3. Civil & Constructive Web3 Discourse

Disagreements over protocols, consensus mechanisms, layer 2 trade-offs, and tokenomics are welcome and encouraged. However, personal attacks are not tolerated.

Attack the argument, not the individual: Focus on code, metrics, token design, and verifiable evidence.
Zero hate speech or harassment: Any content containing slurs, targeted bullying, doxxing, or threats of violence results in an immediate, irreversible account ban.

4. Anti-Bot & Spam Prevention

Automated comment spam, copy-paste bot networks, and astroturfing campaigns degrade the experience for genuine readers. We employ rate limiting, content fingerprinting, and automatic heuristic spam detection to neutralize inorganic behavior.

5. Moderation & Enforcement Policy

Moderators and administrators have complete discretion to maintain thread hygiene:

Comments violating text-only rules or containing spam keywords are permanently deleted without appeal.

🔒 Thread Locking

When a discussion is resolved or devolves into unproductive brigading, moderators will lock the thread from new replies.

🚫 Device & Account Blacklisting

Repeated offenders are permanently banned from submitting new topics, replying, and upvoting across the entire platform.

🚩 User Reporting

Users can flag suspicious content directly within the mobile app or web portal for urgent review.
